What I Do
I envision an ownable styling identity for brands, specializing in e-commerce.
I create images that balance brand and product storytelling in order to engage the customer, build brand love and ultimately drive sales.
I editorialize collections, strategically telling stories through clothes, identifying trends and devising communication opportunities by demographic or channel.
I build and mentor internal styling teams, with a focus on process and the tools needed to execute, build and grow.
Who I Have Worked With
Lauren Blane began her editorial career in London as the founding Fashion Editor of Wonderland magazine and Man About Town.
A project with esteemed designer Kim Jones brought her to New York where she then contributed to magazines such as Vogue, GQ and Vanity Fair.
In 2014 Lauren headed up the styling department at Urban Outfitters overhauling their e-commerce and re-imagining the brands styling identity.
The expertise garnered in this role took Lauren to other North American retailers, most recently to Aritzia, where she created a individual styling aesthetic for each of the six in-house brands, increasing both sales and brand engagement.
Other clients include: Nike, Coach and Matches
